Our Family Tree Books consist of information from all available sources online like; wills, military docs, draft cards, census, burial, funeral home, photos, deeds, newspapers, phone books, marriage certificates, divorce, and death certificates.

Family Tree Books come in different package sizes as listed in the Pricing Information below.

A Detailed Book of 6 Generations is normally about 60 pages long; the chart book is longer due to the layout, which is the book offered by ancestory.com.
The Detailed Book consists of compiled information in a narrative format organized by individual ancestors found in research. All information is cited within the summary located beneath each ancestor's name.
Your book will include a cover and back cover image, which you can upload yourself when you place your order or can be designed by Megan's Genealogy. The cover photos are usually of something significant like a grandmother's flower garden or family home.
The first page in your Detailed Book will start with you or whomever you are purchasing it for. You can also upload images of this person or others in the order link.
Typically there are 1-5 ancestors on a page in a Detailed Book, depending on how much information is found on each individual.
Information comes from online research using various sites and the book is custom-designed by Megan's Genealogy using Shutterfly.
All additional purchases are also designed through Shutterfly.
Your Detailed Book/items will be shipped directly from Shutterfly and will come sealed and packaged.
The Chart Book is sent straight from ancestry.com.
Turnaround time is depending on what product you order. You will be notified prior to booking on what time slots are available and the date range it should arrive.
There will be a family tree chart added to your book for an easier way to trace ancestors.
Once your full payment is received, you will have ten days to review and make changes.

Joint Book with Detailed Information

Starting your book with two individuals instead of one, (for example: you and your spouse or a grandmother and grandfather). For a custom-length book (example: three generations) contact me for a quote. I suggest two separate books since they are easier to maneuver through, but this is a less expensive option with the same amount of information. The families will be integrated throughout one book with two separate family tree charts in the back.
